Hole 9

Hole #9

A good finishing hole for the front nine with plenty of trouble awaiting the un-suspecting golfer.  This slight dogleg left par 4 requires a precise tee shot and perfectly placed approach shot in order to walk away with a chance for par!  From the elevated tee, the golfer must decide between a lay-up shot short and left of the fairway bunker or a more aggressive tee shot with a driver to play past the bunker and to the flats short of the creek that runs across the fairway.  Following your tee shot, you are faced with a very demanding approach shot to this three-tiered green.  Be careful to avoid the front left and short right greenside bunkers.  A ball missed left of the green may end up OB or will leave the golfer with a very difficult up and down.  If you managed to hit a perfect drive and skillfully placed second shot on the green, good luck walking away with only two putts!
